| so..it's been almost a year since i've written anything...and i wasn't planning on writing anything but for some reason i just felt like sharing this thought..haha idk this summer most of the graduating seniors at our church started a dicipleship, and one part of the dicipleship was to choose a book of the bible that you wanted to read and study. each week we would share something that we learned or found interesting from that week and for some reason most weeks my interesting thought was how vulnerable and open the thessalonian church was towards people they didn't even know. they were willing to share personal experiences with everyone and by sharing these experiences people grew and learned from them. God was shown and lifted up through the thessalonians. so now i'm sitting in my apartment and i was thinking about how i want to be as transparent and vulnerable as the thessalonians, and i think that God is giving me the opportunity to be vulnerable at school where i am away from almost everyone (even if it is just for the week) so that i can be a light for Him and grow in my walk with Him as well. :] ok well that was my thought... |
